प्रणम्यं शिरसा देव गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम ।
भक्तावासं: स्मरैनित्यंमायु:कामार्थसिद्धये ॥१॥
प्रथमं वक्रतुंडंच एकदंतं द्वितीयकम ।
तृतीयं कृष्णं पिङा्क्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम ॥२॥
लम्बोदरं पंचमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च ।
सप्तमं विघ्नराजेन्द्रं धूम्रवर्ण तथाष्टकम् ॥३॥
नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम ।
एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम ॥४॥
द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसंध्य य: पठेन्नर: ।
न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वासिद्धिकरं प्रभो ॥५॥
विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम् ।
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान् मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम् ॥६॥
जपेद्वगणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासै: फलं लभेत् ।
संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशय: ॥७॥
अष्टभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वां य: समर्पयेत ।
तस्य विद्या भवेत्सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादत: ॥८॥
॥ इति श्रीनारदपुराणे संकष्टनाशनं गणेशस्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम् ॥
Meaning
Verse 1: Sage Narada said: I bow my head to Lord Ganesha, the son of Goddess Gauri, the remover of obstacles, the abode of devotees. I constantly remember Him for the fulfillment of longevity, desires, and success.
Verse 2: The first form is Vakratunda (curved trunk), the second is Ekadanta (one tusk), the third is Krishna (dark complexioned), and the fourth is Gajavaktra (elephant-faced).
Verse 3: The fifth is Lambodara (pot-bellied), the sixth is Vikata (fierce), the seventh is Vighnarajendra (king of obstacles), and the eighth is Dhumravarna (smoke-colored).
Verse 4: The ninth is Bhalachandra (moon on forehead), the tenth is Vinayaka (remover of obstacles), the eleventh is Ganapati (lord of the Ganas), and the twelfth is Gajanana (elephant-faced).
Verse 5: The person who recites these twelve names three times a day will have no fear of obstacles, and all his endeavors will be successful, O Lord.
Verse 6: The seeker of knowledge attains knowledge, the seeker of wealth attains wealth, the seeker of children attains children, and the seeker of liberation attains liberation.
Verse 7: One who recites this Ganapati Stotra attains results in six months, and achieves perfection within a year, without any doubt.
Verse 8: One who writes this (stotra) and offers it to eight Brahmins, all knowledge becomes his through the grace of Ganesha.
